Elizabeth A. Reeves was born in Massachusetts, but has made Tucson, Arizona her home since she was a child. Her books have been flavored by the culture and spices that surround her. She is a self-proclaimed foodie and lists chocolate and books among her many interests (obsessions)



She is happily married to her husband of nearly a decade and the mother of four boys.



She writes horse books for children under the name Bonnie Lewis, many of which chronicle her experiences as an animal rescuer.
